What is an IDX?

Internet Data Exchange ("IDX") is the next stage in the evolution of real estate and the internet. IDX gives MLS Participants the tool they need to display each others' listings on their Real Estate web sites. IDX is an automated type of data feed provided by your MLS and IDX provider to your website. This data feed typically mirrors the data available on your Real Estate website. Simple, your IDX provider acts as an intermediary between your MLS/IDX data feed and your Real Estate website.

How It Works?

This is simple. You need to work with a IDX Provider for your area. That company should be able to make it very easy for you to incorporate IDX into your site.
