MLSs in 43 markets commit to RPR - Inman News210,000 Realtors to feed listings to NAR's property database WASHINGTON -- A subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors that's building a national property database has entered into licensing agreements to obtain listings data from groups representing more than 210,000 Realtors in 43 U.S. markets.
Realtors Property Resource LLC -- the subsidiary NAR launched in November to build and operate
the database -- is currently beta-testing the parcel-based database with nearly 1,000 Realtors
in 14 markets.

Top 25 largest brokerages in the U.S. - Inman NewsMost of biggest brokers see sales volume drop in '09 Online brokerage ZipRealty completed 34.6 percent more transaction sides in 2009 than in 2008, bumping it up to the fifth-largest brokerage ranked by real estate publishing and communications company Real Trends. ZipRealty had previously ranked ninth in transaction sides.
Real Trends ranks the country's 500 largest brokerages each year by transaction sides (in every
real estate sale there are two transaction "sides": the buyer's side and the seller's side) and
closed sales volume.
